Viscount Leverhulme Council
 
On Monday 18th December Viscount Leverhulme Council held their Christmas Meeting and what a party it was !!
The District Officers
Arriving at Ridgmont, Brethren and guests able to avail themselves of welcome refreshments consisting of an amble supply of Tea or Coffee, while enjoying these refreshments lively conversation took place.
After opening the Council the Master Malcolm Timms was pleased to welcome the District Grand Prefect and the District Team to their Meeting.

After being welcomed by the W.M. Malcolm Timms, the District Prefect Paul Snape introduced the District Officers.
Also attending were three Masters from neighbouring Councils.

The St Lawrence Ceremony was conducted by the Master W.Bro. Malcolm Timms, during which Derek English was introduced to the Order, the Lecture being presented by W.Bro. Geoff Catterall.
Following Derek's introduction into the Order he then took part in the Ceremony of Knight of Constantinople, which was conducted by W.Bro. Peter Sheffield, the Lecture being presented by W.Bro. Geoff Catterall.
Well I'm ready for something to eat.
The next business was to Declare Bro. Don Hesketh as Master for the ensuing year, in reply Don thanked the Brethren for their confidence in selecting him as Master Elect, stating he would do his best to maintain the high standard of work within Viscount Leverhulme Council.
Before the meeting closed the District Grand Prefect welcomed Bro. Derek English to the Order wishing him well for the future, he also commented on how much he had enjoyed the meeting, particularly commenting on the high standard of both Ceremonies congratulating all concerned, but gave particular congratulations to Geoff Catterall for the excellent manner in which he presented both Lectures.

In reply Malcolm Timms as Master thanked the District Grand Prefect for his kind comments and invited everyone to well earned refreshment, which on this occasion was a sumptuous Christmas Meal enough for second helpings. (The Christmas Pudding being much sought after!)
